Choosing to Cremate

1. You may have a private cremation or you may choose to attend the cremation.

 

2. For a private cremation, the selected Funeral Director will deliver the deceased to a crematorium and will deliver the ashes to you thereafter.

 

3. If you wish to attend the cremation, you will need to inform your Funeral Director in order for the necessary arrangements to be made on your behalf.

 

4. It is not necessary for you to decide immediately what you would like to do with the ashes.

 

5. Your Funeral Director will contact you after the cremation to arrange delivery, collection or interment of the ashes.
